Calvin Wharton was the editor of Event from 1996 to 2001. His fiction and poetry has been published in literary magazines and anthologies, and broadcast on CBC radio. He is the author of a book of poetry, Visualized Chemistry, and he co-edited the poetry anthology, East of Main, with Tom Wayman. He also wrote the book Rowing, with Silken Laumann. He lives in North Vancouver, BC.
