Andrew Suknaski

Poet and visual artist Andrew Suknaski was born near Wood Mountain, Saskatchewan, in 1942. He has published over twenty-five books. He won the Canadian Authors Association Poetry Award in 1979. Suknaski's poems have appeared in such anthologies as Number One Northern and Studio One: Stories Made for Radio. He has worked as a researcher for the National Film Board. In 1978, Harvey Spak made a documentary of Suknaski entitled Wood Mountain Poems. Andrew Suknaski lives in Regina.
