Rollercoaster

Several years ago Wayne Tefs, a teacher, author, husband and father, was diagnosed with a relatively unknown form of cancer called carcinoid syndrome.

Rollercoaster is an account of his journey from the onset of the disease, his initial shock at diagnosis, his spiritual struggle throughout the experience and of eventually learning to live with it. Throughout, Tefs encountered a wide spectrum of people whose actions ranged from compassionate to lazily indifferent--all fueling him with the necessary combination of hope and anger to carry on.
